Having left the Hotel, we had decided to catch the ferry at Royan, so we headed for Lacaneau-ocean to see what the weather was like and to have a coffee
Out of the car, we headed for the beach, the sea was very rough, it was very very windy, and of course cold. We headed back for coffee, when it started to rain again, so following the coffee, we went next door for oysters bread and wine, it appears it is the place to go on a Sunday morning, as it was crowded.
we decided to forget about the ferry as it might not even be 
running, so drove to Mike and Catriona, taking the scenic route.
we had a lovely welcome from the boys, played a game of Uno, had a lovely curry meal, and settled down to watch Strictly, lovely day was had by all.
